ABOUT THE EVENT

Fancy a crafty Sunday? Of course you do. This is one of a series of arts and crafts workshops, taking place simultaneously.

Join Burbage Festival regular Chaz from Wayside Willow to make a twizzly wind spinner to hang in your garden or allotment. Please note that you will need to have good manual dexterity to make the spinner, it’s quite fiddly!

Wayside Willow seeks to bring the ancient craft of willow weaving to 21st century learners,  engaging them with historical skills and techniques, while cultivating creative thinking and problem solving.

Chaz runs half and full day adult courses, school workshops, and makes decorative and useful items for the garden and home. You can also commission him to make bespoke pieces and sculptures.

This event is suitable for adults and accompanied children aged 15-18

As always, refreshments, including home made cake, will be on offer.
