ABOUT THE EVENT
After a successful first outing in May 2022, Burbage Festival (and friends) are back to "yarn bomb" Pughe's Paddock, with the theme, "Joys of Summer".
Come and admire other crafters' work, and you can join in, too. On hand will be 1st Burbage Guides, who are running workshops and will be happy to offer help and guidance.
Entry and participation is free, no ticket required, just turn up! But if you'd like to make a donation to the Guides on the day, any monies go straight into organising activities that benefit the girls directly.
What can you make to add to the Paddock? We’d love to see lots of colourful flowers, bees, ladybirds and other summer themed yarn and fabric creations. The brighter the better!
Suitable for all ages (including children with adult supervision).
UPDATE(1): Between 11AM and 1PM, we are delighted to welcome into the Paddock Hinckley-based barbershop/acappella group Tuxedo Junction, who will entertain us while we work away!
UPDATE(2): Refreshments will be available to purchase from Really Awesome Coffee Hinckley who are returning to keep us hydrated.
Be sure to visit the Children's Art Exhibition on Windsor St at Connect, in the Burbage Methodist Church, which is running at the same time. Refreshements and loos there, too!
