ABOUT THE EVENT
Cold Play to Bach performed by the Arioso Quartet
Led by violinist Clare Pitchford, the Arioso Quartet have studied at prestigious institutions like the Royal Academy of Music and have played with major orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic, Halle Orchestra, and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Today, they play for us a selection of traditional and modern classics which will include:
Viva la Vida-Coldplay
Arrival of the Queen of Sheba-Handel
Titanic Theme
Arioso by Bach
Hear a selection of excerpts here
The music will be interspersed with poetry readings performed by local poets.
Oh! And a Cream Tea with homemade scones will be served during the interval.
