ABOUT THE EVENT
One of a number of craft events on at the Millennium Hall, today. All workshops aimed at beginners, try something different and take home your creation…
Iris folding is a Dutch papercraft technique from the 1980's that involves layering and taping strips of folded paper in a spiral pattern to resemble a camera lens iris. Originating from card making, it uses patterned templates to guide the placement of strips over a cutout shape, creating a textured spiralling design that closes toward a centre point.
Join local creative crafter Sarah from Sweet Pea and Snapdragon for this hands-on Iris paper folding craft with a bird theme. Make a lovely picture of a robin or bluebird to take home, complete with a 15 x 15 cm frame included.
1:00PM - 2:30PM (one session of 1.5 hours)
Please note that due to limited space only crafting attendees should attend
As always, refreshments, including home made cake, will be on offer.
This event is suitable for adults and accompanied children aged 16-18
